Champagne Girl Lemonade

The other day I was over at the home of Champagne Girl. What do we do when we aren’t drinking champagne and eating cake? We drink lemonade. Lemonade out on the farmhouse porch telling stories and laughing. Lemonade in the living room discussing the serious matters of our lives. Lemonade on the go. That girl makes the best lemonade I have ever tasted. Not too tart and not too sweet. She even gave me a to go cup with lemonade in it for my hot drive home in the Yellow Bug. I was able to battle the heat and the rush hour traffic with that cup of goodness! More people should drink her lemonade during rush hour.

This is the best lemonade recipe I have ever tasted. Add a shot of your favorite vodka and you have a very yummy cocktail.  It can also be served as a non-alcoholic Lemon Drop Martini. All I did was sugar the rim of the martini glass and added a lemon garni. If you like pink lemonade, just add a maraschino cherry and two teaspoons of the cherry juice from the jar.

Champagne Girl Lemonade

1 can of frozen lemonade, any brand, any size

then, the secret ingredient (can you hear the drum rolls?)

4 lemonade cans of cold Fresca, not water
Stir until well mixed, serve over ice.  Crushed ice is the best.

I love garnishes, so try maraschino cherries, a twist of lemon rind, or a slice of lemon. Enjoy!
Stay cool, Nella

    My daughter would love this.

I like drinks that are prepared by the pitcher because that means I get to enjoy the company of others. There's nothing better than good food and drinks with good company.
